Carbonara is a dish made up usually of bacon,cheese,eggs,and of course—pasta. The Filipinos adopted this food and made their own versions. One of this version I remember is consists of evaporated milk,eggs and pasta. But ever wondered where the term ‘carbonara’ originated from? They say it comes from an Italian term for charcoal workers.Because in early Roman times,carbonara is a favorite of charcoal workers. Ironic,isn’t it? a sossy food like the carbonara comes from a term that is associated with poor people and charcoal is black & carbonara is white.
